Police in Amsterdam have assisted in dismantling the LeakBase database, one of the world’s largest online forums for trading stolen data. The operation, led by the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), saw the seizure of servers and the arrest of several individuals suspected of operating the forum. LeakBase was known for hosting and facilitating the sale of vast amounts of compromised personal information, including login credentials, credit card details, and sensitive documents.
