Arizona Court Rules Clergy Not Required to Report Child Abuse from Confession
The Arizona Supreme Court has ruled that clergy members in the state are not legally obligated to report child abuse if they learn of it within the context of a religious confession, in a case involving two bishops who remained silent about abuse.
