Auckland Mother Jailed for Removing Premature Baby from Hospital Against Medical Advice

An Auckland woman has been sentenced to jail for illegally removing her premature infant from a hospital despite explicit medical warnings that the child could die. Her husband was also charged but died before sentencing.
