Austrian Government Allows Higher Penalties for Early Loan Repayment
The Austrian government is enabling higher penalties, from one to up to three percent of the outstanding loan amount, for early repayment of fixed-rate loans, reportedly as a concession to the financial sector in exchange for a higher bank levy.
