Sexual harassment row in Bangladesh cricket: BCB bans ex-women’s selector
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has banned former women’s selector Monjurul Islam from all cricket-related roles after an inquiry into sexual misconduct allegations by ex-captain Jahanara Alam. The panel found initial proof in two allegations, calling his behaviour harassment. The BCB said it may take further action. It also announced the Women’s Bangladesh Premier League dates and gave chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain a one-month extension.
