Illegal Waste Burning Becomes Frequent in Montenegro

The illegal burning of waste in open areas has become a frequent occurrence in Montenegro. The Strategy for European and Civil Montenegro (STEGA) notes that the current Criminal Code does not clearly define open-air waste burning as a specific criminal offense nor prescribe adequate sanctions.
