Portuguese Parliament Approves IRS Exemption for Church Abuse Victims' Compensation

The Portuguese Parliament has approved a law exempting IRS (income tax) for compensation paid to victims of abuse within the Church. This diploma is the result of merged proposals from government and opposition parties and now awaits promulgation.
