Wind Farm Project Studies Impact on Migratory Birds in Latvia
The "Elwind" wind energy project, a collaboration between Latvia and Estonia, has begun studying the potential impact of wind farms on migratory bird species near Pāvilosta. An international team of experts started the research last autumn in cooperation with the Estonian Ornithological Society.
