HDB Allocates Flats to Ineligible Applicants Due to Weak Checks
A report by the Auditor-General's Office (AGO) revealed that the Housing & Development Board (HDB) allocated flats and housing grants to ineligible applicants due to weaknesses in its checking processes. HDB may also have overpaid a contractor by S$9.7 million for unperformed car park services.
