EU Member States Appoint German as New Chief Prosecutor
Andres Ritter has been selected by EU member states to be the new European Chief Prosecutor, taking office on November 1st. He will succeed Laura Kövesi, the first head of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, which investigates crimes related to EU funds.
