Ghana's DVLA to Pilot New Electronic Number Plate System Linking Plates to Owners

Ghana's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to pilot a new electronic number plate system this month, with a nationwide rollout planned for January 2027. The new system will permanently link vehicle registration numbers to owners rather than to the vehicles themselves.
