Czech ODS Party Revokes Local Ostrava Association License

The executive council of the Czech Civic Democratic Party (ODS) has revoked the license of its local association in Moravská Ostrava. The decision was attributed to internal disputes within the organization and an effort to open it up to new members, with some current members reportedly considering joining a rival party.

Výkonná rada ODS odebrala licenci místnímu sdružení ODS Moravská Ostrava. Rozhodnutí zdůvodnila spory uvnitř organizace a snahou o její větší otevřenost novým členům. V úterý o tom informoval regionální manažer ODS Jan Kuchař. Někteří zástupci místního sdružení rozhodnutí kritizují a považují ho za účelové a netransparentní.
