Bank of Ghana Absorbs GH¢11.5 Billion from Market with Cash Reserve Ratio
The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has stated that its early assessments of the 20% Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) implementation have been orderly, leading to the absorption of GH¢11.5 billion from the market. The Central Bank has been closely monitoring liquidity conditions, money market rates, credit activity, and the foreign exchange market since its introduction.
