Philippine Power Retailer Ordered to Refund $156 Million to Customers

Manila Electric Co. (Meralco), the largest power distributor in the Philippines, has been ordered by regulators to refund 9.5 billion pesos ($156 million). The refund is for excess charges previously collected from its customers.
