Ebola Vaccine Development and Bundibugyo Strain Details
Scientists have developed an experimental vaccine that successfully protected mice against three species of Ebola, including the Bundibugyo strain. New studies reveal the Bundibugyo strain is less lethal than the Zaire strain, killing 30% to 40% of infected people, while the vaccine still requires human testing.
