Netherlands Imposes Surface Water Ban Near Amsterdam Amid Worsening Drought

A daytime ban on using surface water will be implemented in an area near Amsterdam, Hilversum, and Nieuwkoop, as the Dutch drought continues to worsen. The water authority Amstel, Gooi and Vecht announced the measure.
