METI Requests Reports After Nippon Paper Chimney Collapse
Following the collapse of a Nippon Paper factory chimney in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture, which killed nine people during an earthquake, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has issued a notice requesting reports on chimney management from all private power generation operators.
