Skeleton of Saint Francis of Assisi Displayed for the First Time

To commemorate the 800th anniversary of his death, the complete skeleton of Saint Francis of Assisi has been put on public display for the first time. Previously, his remains rested in a sarcophagus within the crypt of the Basilica of Assisi, and the exhibition will run until March 22.
