Historical meteorological column in Hranice undergoes reconstruction

Restorers are working on the repair of a historical meteorological column in Hranice, Czech Republic. The column, which began measuring temperature, pressure, and other data in the early 20th century, is being freed from moisture and restored to operation.

Na opravách historického meteorologického sloupu pracují restaurátoři v Hranicích. Teplotu, tlak a další údaje začal před tamní sokolovnou měřit na začátku 20. století. Odborníci se teď snaží památkově chráněný sloup zbavit vlhkosti a znovu zprovoznit všechny měřící přístroje. Investice vyjde radnici na milion korun.
