Elektrėnai Council Demands Closure of Kazokiškės Landfill

The Elektrėnai municipal council has unanimously voted to demand the revocation of the integrated pollution prevention and control permit for the Kazokiškės landfill and to find a new location for it.

Elektrėnų savivaldybės taryba reikalauja panaikinti Kazokiškių sąvartynui išduotą taršos integruotos prevencijos ir kontrolės leidimą ir sąvartynui ieškoti naujos vietos. Trečiadienį tokį sprendimą taryba vienbalsiai patvirtino posėdyje, jį inicijavo savivaldybės meras Gediminas Ratkevičius.
