Over 60% of Italy's wealth owned by 10% of its families - BoI

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 3 - Italy's net wealth per household amounted to €453,000 in the fourth quarter of 2025, a slight increase on the figure of €431,000 registered at the end of 2024, the Bank of Italy said on Wednesday. The central bank added that Italy's wealth is highly "concentrated", with the richest 10% of households holding 60.6% of the nation's total net wealth.
