Canada's response to Israel's 2026 invasion of Lebanon has been unequivocal condemnation of what Prime Minister Mark Carney called "an illegal invasion." That's a marked contrast to Stephen Harper's defence of Israel's 2006 invasion, in which he even made excuses for the IDF's killing of a Canadian Army officer.
