A Delhi techie has been arrested a month after his wife was found dead at a Mussoorie homestay. The investigation revealed the woman's throat was slit and she was pushed down a gorge, but managed to climb back before succumbing to her injuries.

Dehradun police arrested software engineer Sri Charan Somayajula in connection with his wife's death. Gayatri Radha was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a homestay near Mussoorie. A magisterial inquiry was ordered after the post-mortem failed to establish the cause. Her parents alleged murder and demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. Charan was remanded to 14 days judicial custody following his arrest.
