Spanish Regulator Admits Regulation Nearly Excluded Retail Investors from Stock Market
The president of Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) acknowledged that existing regulations almost drove retail investors out of the stock market. The regulator is now working to simplify procedures to direct household savings into productive investments.
