Troy Stecher signs two-year, $2.7-million deal with Toronto Maple Leafs

Jun. 30—GRAND FORKS — The Toronto Maple Leafs claimed Troy Stecher off of waivers last November. The former UND defenseman immediately jumped into their lineup, played big minutes and impressed the organization enough to warrant a new deal. Stecher has signed a two-year contract extension with the Maple Leafs, taking him through the 2027-28 season. The deal is reportedly worth $2.7 million. ...
