Women Increasingly Dominate Medical Profession in Portugal, One-Third of Doctors Under 35

According to INE, 65.3% of practicing medical professionals in Portugal are women, with their proportion being highest in younger age groups where they outnumber men by more than double. One-third of all doctors are under 35 years old.
