Zelensky Orders Purge of Ukraine's Security Service

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered a purge of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), instructing acting and deputy heads to remove individuals who do not defend Ukraine, with arrests already made.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he had instructed acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Yevhen Khmara and SSU deputy head Oleksandr Poklad to work on cleansing the Security Service of Ukraine of individuals who do not defend Ukraine’s interests. Relevant arrests were made today.
