UN Expert Alleges Torture and Mistreatment of Palestinian Detainees in Israel

UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Alice Jill Edwards, stated that the numerous and cruel allegations of torture, sexual violence, and mistreatment of Palestinian detainees demonstrate Israel's gross disregard for its duty to treat all detainees humanely.
