Latvian Startup PrintyMed Secures €500,000 for Spider Silk Technology
Latvian startup PrintyMed has secured €500,000 in funding from the European Innovation Council to develop innovative artificial spider silk membrane technology for medical applications. The company plans to begin production of wound dressings and heart valves using this technology within two years.
