Pioneering Heart Surgery Performed in Greece
A groundbreaking TAVI-in-TAVI heart valve replacement procedure was successfully performed for the first time in Greece at the "Sotiria" Hospital by the EKPA University Clinic. The surgery involved replacing a 15-year-old degenerated CoreValve aortic bioprosthetic valve.
