Ben Gvir Announces Death Penalty Unit for Palestinians, New Settlement Construction
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced plans to establish a unit for executing Palestinians sentenced to death, following a death penalty law approved in March. Concurrently, the Israeli government also revealed a new tender for housing in West Bank settlements.
