Bengaluru Engineer Dies by Suicide After Mother's Death

Distressed over mother’s death, Bengaluru PWD engineer jumps to death from hilltop

A 33-year-old Public Works Department engineer ended his life by jumping from Devarayanadurga hilltop in Tumakuru district. The engineer, Manju Prasad, was reportedly upset after his mother's passing last year. He left home on Monday, telling his wife he was going to his office. He visited a relative before proceeding to the hilltop.
