Benito Mussolini: Dictatorship, Dalmatia Ambitions, and Violent End
Benito Mussolini, known as Il Duce, led Fascist Italy from 1922 to 1945, establishing an authoritarian regime and pursuing aggressive foreign policies aimed at restoring the Roman Empire through expansion, including a strong desire for Dalmatia. He was captured while fleeing, killed, and subsequently hanged.
