Berlin Theatertreffen Abolishes Gender Quota

The Berliner Theatertreffen has decided to abolish its gender quota, which had been in place since 2020, for its 2027 and 2028 editions. The jury stated that the focus would return to artistic merit, regardless of the artist's gender.
