Italy Appoints Commissioner to Manage 84 Million Euro COVID Waste Burden

Italy has approved a decree to appoint a special commissioner tasked with disposing of over 22,000 tons of waste accumulated during the pandemic, a burden estimated at 84 million euros over two years.
