Brazilian Parliament Approves Fuel Tax Reduction
The Brazilian Senate voted 61 to 2 in favor of a project to reduce taxes on fuels including diesel, gasoline, ethanol, and aviation kerosene, with fiscal losses expected to be covered by oil revenues. The bill now goes to President Lula da Silva.
