Bulgarian medical team performs liver transplant on 58-year-old woman

A team from the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Bulgaria successfully transplanted a liver into a 58-year-old woman. The donor was a 46-year-old man, and the patient is reported to be in stable condition.
