Romanian Firefighters Convicted for Refugee Aid Fraud
Three firefighters in Maramureș and Satu Mare, Romania, have been convicted by a military tribunal for illegally obtaining funds from a program intended for Ukrainian refugees. They falsely claimed to have hosted refugees to receive financial support.
