Over 5,000 confirmed Ebola cases in Congo, half fatal
The World Health Organization reports that the number of Ebola cases in Congo continues to rise, with over 5,000 confirmed cases and a fatality rate of 50%, as there is currently no vaccine or therapy for the pathogen.
