Orbán to European Council President: 'You ask me to pretend nothing happened. This is impossible!'

Viktor Orbán responded to António Costa's request to adhere to his December decision on EU aid for Ukraine and support sanctions against Russia, stating it's impossible to pretend nothing happened after he backtracked on these commitments.

António Costa felszólította Orbánt, hogy tartsa magát a decemberi döntéséhez és járuljon hozzá az Ukrajnának szánt uniós hitel folyósításához. Ettől, illetve az újabb Oroszország elleni szankciós csomag támogatásától azután táncolt vissza a magyar kormány, hogy egy orosz csapás következtében leállt az olajszállítás a Barátság-vezetéken.
