Japan's First Tomahawk-Capable Destroyer Puts China, North Korea Targets in Range
Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force Aegis destroyer 'Chokai' has been modified in the United States to be capable of launching US-made Tomahawk cruise missiles. This makes it Japan's first such vessel, with the 1,600-kilometer range weapons allowing it to target locations deep inside China and North Korea.
