Fields Medalist Ngo Bao Chau to interview Vietnamese students for elite math program as he begins Asia-focused chapter after 15 years in US

Ngo Bao Chao, Vietnam's only Fields Medal laureate, will select students for a new honors math program at the country's two national universities, with tuition waivers and monthly stipends of up to VND15 million (US$573), the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) announced March 5.
