Nazi Party Archives Reveal Family Histories in Germany

The disclosure of Nazi Party membership records from the U.S. National Archives, made available since late 2025, is prompting many Germans to reconstruct their family histories. A search engine created by Die Zeit is helping to facilitate access to these difficult-to-research microfilmed files.
