Police car hits moped rider in Tuusula, two investigations opened

Finnish authorities have opened two separate criminal investigations after a police car and a moped rider collided during a pursuit in Tuusula on Saturday, leaving the rider with minor injuries. The National Prosecution Authority’s police crime unit has opened a preliminary investigation into the conduct of police officers during the attempt to stop the rider, Helsinki Police Department said on Sunday.
