Winston Peters' Comments on Chinese-Born MP Draw Criticism and Diplomatic Concern
New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters faced strong criticism from former PM Helen Clark and current PM Christopher Luxon for his remarks about a Chinese-born Green MP. The Chinese Embassy in New Zealand also expressed concerns to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade regarding Peters' comments.
