Czech and German Towns Celebrate 20 Years of Partnership

The Czech town of Železná Ruda and its German counterpart, Bayerisch Eisenstein, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their cross-border partnership with traditional festivities.

Železná Ruda žila od pátku tradičními slavnostmi. Do města v srdci Šumavy dorazily stovky místních lidí, turistů i německých sousedů. Součástí programu totiž bylo i připomenutí dvacátého výročí partnerství s nedalekou Bavorskou Rudou.
