Lavitola Arrested in Ranucci Case, Accused of 'Mafia Method'

Former Avanti director Valter Lavitola has been arrested, with the Rome prosecutor's office accusing him of using 'mafia methods' in an alleged plot to facilitate someone's entry into politics. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Tavares, an intermediary.
