Red Weather Alert Issued for Extreme Heat in Northern Serbia

Banat, Bačka, and Pomoravlje regions in Serbia are under a red weather alert due to extreme heat, with Kikinda recording over 30 degrees Celsius by 9 AM. Meteorologists predict the most intense heat from August 5th to 8th.

Crveni meteo-alarm na severu, Kikinda jutros najtoplija

Banat, Bačka i Pomoravlje su pod crvenim meteo-alarmom zbog ekstremnih vrućina. Najtoplije je jutros u Kikindi, gde je temperatura u 9 sati prešla 30 stepeni. Meteorolog Slobodan Sovilj za RTS kaže da će najizraženije vrućine biti od 5. do 8. avgusta, kada će temperature lokalno dostizati i 40 stepeni.
