RTÉ Defends €97k Payments to Former Presenters D’Arcy and Byrne
Irish broadcaster RTÉ paid former presenters Ray D’Arcy and Claire Byrne a combined total of nearly €97,000 after they had ceased working for the company. RTÉ has since defended these payments amidst public scrutiny.
