Over Half a Million Barnacle Geese Arrive in Finland Exceptionally Early

More than 500,000 barnacle geese have migrated to Finland earlier than usual, with over 200,000 birds observed in North Karelia alone, as they rest and feed on their journey to the Arctic Ocean.
